Born in Sao Paulo, the singer-songwriter Milena Castro started her professional career at the age 15 singing in the countryside.cities of Sao Paulo state.
Looking for greater visibility, she moved to Sao Paulo in 2005 and started to show up in Sao Paulo city music circuit. At the same year, she took over the singer position in Bubu Lounge, one of the biggest night clubs of the country.
2006 - Started to play together with renowned musicians like Almir Sater, Zé Ramalho and Toquinho, opening their music stages.
2007 - Recorded her first authorial album entitled “Todas as Palavras” and was invited to sing at Ibirapuera Park in the movie release of “Chega de Saudade”, directed by Laís Bodanzky..
2008 - Invited to make a special participation in Seu Jorge live music show and, in the same year, her song “Dias de Sol” recorded by Banda Cheiro de Amor became a national hit in Brazil, being played in radios and TV.
2009 - Has made a series of live music stages with renowned MPB musicians at well-known Bar Brahma in Sao Paulo.
2010 - Her song “Todas as Palavras” was remastered, edited and released by Tupi Records with the title “DIAS DE SOL”, in Brazil and Asia.
